Fluoride So Safe US Government Lowers Safe Level

Posted on May 15th, by Danny in Fluoride History, Fluoride Side Effects. 7 comments

On April 27, 2015, the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) released a statement stating the recommended level of fluoride will be lowered across the United States. For the past 50 years, the US government has consistently stated that fluoride is safe at 1.2 ppm with the lowest recommended amount being 0.7 ppm. However, the new level will reduce the maximum safe amount to the previous lowest recommended dose at 0.7 ppm.

With the US government changing their official position on water fluoridation overnight, several issues come to mind:

1) The government is all but admitting that they have been over-fluoridating the American people for the past 50 years. Changing the recommended amount of fluoridation chemicals being added to the water supply should be a red flag to anyone who believes fluoride is safe. Why would the government change their position … Read More »

URGENT – Ontario MPP Bob Delaney Trying to Force Fluoride on All Ontarians

Posted on December 15th, by Danny in Bob Delaney MPP, Fluoride Controversy, Fluoride History. 28 comments

This is a critical moment for the history of artificial water fluoridation in Ontario, Canada.

After years of hard work and many great successes to end artificial water fluoridation, Ontario MPP Bob Delaney has introduced a petition to the Ontario Legislature to “make the fluoridation of municipal drinking water mandatory in all municipal water systems across the Province of Ontario.”

You can see the video of Mr. Delaney’s motion in the Legislature on youtube here.

Mr. Delaney makes extraordinary false claims during his reading:

1) We are adding the same fluoride to the water that is “naturally found in water everywhere.” FALSE

We are not adding a natural fluoride to our drinking water. In Toronto, we are currently adding a toxic waste byproduct of the phosphate and aluminum industries to our water called hydrofluosilicic acid (HFSA). The fluoride found in most toothpastes is a filtered form of this chemical … Read More »

Toronto City Councillors’ Stances on Water Fluoridation in Toronto

Posted on May 28th, by Ashley in Fluoride Facts, Fluoride History. 2 comments

Over the past few months, concerned citizens (including myself and Danny) have been contacting Toronto City Councillors regarding their stances on water fluoridation. While some were quite forthcoming with their thoughts, sadly, exactly half were completely silent on the issue. The city councillors who did not respond were contacted at least 2-3 times via e-mail and/or telephone, but still would not disclose a stance. Some also said they would respond, but never did, and others refused to respond unless I provided them with my telephone number and home address.

Of those forthcoming, several were concerned about the health risks associated with drinking artificially fluoridated water.  For example, Jaye Robinson stated, “I’m concerned about the issue and, personally, I use a water filter at home”. Ron Moeser also stated, “I have been keeping up-to-date on this issue and have concerns with … Read More »

Where does “fluoride” come from?

Posted on April 24th, by Danny in Fluoride Facts, Fluoride History. 3 comments

Our grocery stores are riddled with rows of toothpastes containing sodium fluoride and bottled beverages containing hydrofluorosilicic or hexafluorosilicic acid (the same type of fluoride found in certain cleaning products and our tap water).  Many agricultural food products are highly contaminated with “fluoride” residue from conventional insecticides and pesticides. Fluoride’s use as an insecticide extends beyond the farm into the home and is often found in roach and other insect killers. But where does this chemical, that we ingest every single day and that we are told is good for our teeth, really come from?

In Toronto, the contract to purchase over $3,000,000 worth of “fluoride” in 2012 went to a chemical company called Min-Chem Canada Inc.. They sell the chemical Hydrofluosilicic Acid to the City of Toronto and that is the chemical that we know as fluoride.

Toronto Water then adds this chemical to our water supply, after the water has already finished … Read More »

When fluoride is removed, dental decay decreases or stays the same

Posted on August 29th, by Danny in Fluoride Controversy, Fluoride Facts, Fluoride History. 7 comments

Don’t let the fear-mongers scare you. As reported in the Calgary Herald newspaper article Calgary dentists report more cavities in kids after fluoride removed from water, the author Clara Ho makes it seem like after only two years of children not being exposed to the toxic chemical hydrofluorosilicic acid (fluoride), their teeth are starting to fall out.

But let’s look a little closer shall we?

By “Calgary Dentists”, Clara Ho actually means two Calgary Dentists. They are reporting that children are coming to their office “with bigger cavities than seen before” and ““Now we’re seeing again the horror stories in a younger population of children since they’ve taken the fluoride out,” Smith said, citing higher levels of decay in young children and even babies as young as 11 months.”

Higher tooth decay in babies as young as 11 months? A child’s first teeth … Read More »

Top 4 Reasons Why Adding Medication to Water is Wrong

There are many reasons why medication of any kind should not and cannot be distributed through a water supply. Here are the top 4 reasons:

1) Everyone Receives a Different Dosage

By government mandate, Toronto Water adds a very precise dose of the medication hydrofluorosilicic acid (fluoride) to the water at around 0.6 ppm. However, depending on how much water you drink, this provides for a very large range of dosages especially over the span of a lifetime.

If I drink 4 litres of water per day and you drink 1 litre of water per day, that means that I am effectively consuming 4 times the amount of fluoride as you are each day. This is especially problematic for those who drink a large amount of water including firemen, diabetics, and athletes. Coupled with all of the other fluoride we ingest through sources such as beverages, foods, and … Read More »

Commentary on Dr. Paul Connett’s Top 7 Reasons to End Artificial Water Fluoridation

Posted on July 23rd, by Danny in Fluoride History, Fluoride Side Effects. No Comments

On Monday, April 22, 2013, Dr. Paul Connett Ph.D joined us at the North York Civic Centre to discuss the artificial fluoridation of Toronto’s water supply. You can see the full video presentation on YouTube here.

Dr. Connett is a graduate of Cambridge University and holds a Ph.D. in chemistry from Dartmouth College. After teaching for 23 years in Canton NY at St. Lawrence University, he retired from his full professorship in chemistry in May 2006.  Dr. Connett was kind enough to grace Toronto with his presence before travelling on April 23rd to testify against the addition of hydrofluorosilicic acid (fluoride) to the water supply in various municipalities in Quebec. Quebec currently has one of the lowest rates of artificially fluoridated water in Canada at around 2.6% with their largest city Montreal, having never fluoridated their water supply.

After another incredibly informative presentation, Dr. Connett reviewed the top 7 reasons … Read More »
