Fluoride Side Effects
In my opinion, the National Post is a terrible newspaper. I have almost entirely stopped reading mainstream media newspapers other than to see what our controllers would like us to believe and I highly recommend you do the same. The good news is that the majority of mainstream media newspapers here in Toronto and abroad are getting decimated by alternatives in our new digital age where the people are waking up and are hungrier than ever for the truth and real news.
When was the last time you saw someone reading a newspaper?
In a recent and highly despicable move by the National Post, author Sharon Kirkey published an article titled “Researchers urge caution over study linking fluoride exposure in pregnancy to lower IQs in children.” This NP trash article was in reference to a research paper recently published in Environmental Health Perspectives that … Read More »

“98% of Europe does not fluoridate. Only 8 countries in the world have more than 50% of their population drinking (fluoridated) water: America, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, Israel, Singapore, Malaysia and Colombia… Only 8.” Dr. Paul Connett PhD
“That means that you and I and our children in the United States are the largest consumers of hydrofluosilicic acid. Call it (fluoride) what it is – hydrofluosilicic acid. What is that? Hydro – water. Fluo – fluoride. Silicic – sand… and it is missing an electron it is acidic. It’ll kill ya! You … Read More »
On April 27, 2015, the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) released a statement stating the recommended level of fluoride will be lowered across the United States. For the past 50 years, the US government has consistently stated that fluoride is safe at 1.2 ppm with the lowest recommended amount being 0.7 ppm. However, the new level will reduce the maximum safe amount to the previous lowest recommended dose at 0.7 ppm.
With the US government changing their official position on water fluoridation overnight, several issues come to mind:
1) The government is all but admitting that they have been over-fluoridating the American people for the past 50 years. Changing the recommended amount of fluoridation chemicals being added to the water supply should be a red flag to anyone who believes fluoride is safe. Why would the government change their position … Read More »
Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) has become a prominent cause for concern within developed nations. Many blame video games or even ‘on-the-go’ cultures for producing ADHD in children. However, a new study released by the Department of Psychology at Toronto’s York University indicates that ADHD could in fact be linked to water fluoridation.
Studying data from children ranging from the ages of four to seventeen along with the CDC’s own data regarding state water fluoridation levels, the researchers discovered a marked link between children suffering from ADHD and concentrated public water fluoridation. The team concluded that “this study has empirically demonstrated an association between more widespread exposure to fluoridated water and increased ADHD prevalence in the United States.”
Previous studies have shown a number of chemicals, including fluoride, are linked with brain disorders in children. As well, rats exposed to fluoride have been … Read More »
A recent study has discovered a startling link between fluoride intake and hypothyroidism. Hypothyroidism or underactive thyroid is a disease which causes the body’s thyroid gland to fail to produce adequate levels of important hormones. This causes a host of undesirable side-effects such as weight gain, depression, fatigue and in the worst cases cretinism which can cause severe mental and physical developmental delays in children. This can also lead to other disorders and diseases if left untreated or undiagnosed.
The study was conducted by researchers from the University of Kent and although it appears their findings were not well received by their peers, they are nevertheless impossible to ignore. The researchers discovered that fluoridation above 0.3 ppm (mg/l) is directly correlated with a 30% higher rate of hypothyroidism in those drinking the fluoridated water. Studying the cases of hundreds of residents across England between … Read More »
End Fluoride Toronto was established one and a half years ago and this week we have reached a very significant milestone together. A few days ago our change.org petition asking Toronto City Council to end artificial water fluoridation reached 5,000 signatures. This is amazing news. Even better, we are gaining more support everyday. The word is out and people are waking up to the reality of artificial water fluoridation here and across the world.
Europeans exercise a very important practice called the “Precautionary Principle” which states that “in the absence of scientific consensus that an action is not harmful, the burden of proof that the action is not harmful falls on those taking the action.” With the published Harvard study “Developmental Fluoride Neurotoxicity: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis” showing a potential adverse effect of fluoride on our children’s developing brains, why would our … Read More »
There is a serious problem with adding medication to the water supply: Everyone drinks a different amount of water.
Although the City of Toronto is very good at adding a precise amount of hydrofluorosilicic acid (fluoride) to our drinking water, that water is consumed in vastly different quantities by vastly different people.
When a doctor prescribes their patient a medication, there is a process of evaluation of the patient’s physical and mental condition. This gives the doctor an idea of the proper amount and intake schedule of a particular drug.
If treating obesity for example, one would treat a person who weighs 500 lbs differently than someone who weighs 200 lbs. Why? Because the 500 lb person requires more care when changing their diet and lifestyle than the person who weighs 200 lbs.
This is the reason why it is so important to evaluate people on a patient-by-patient … Read More »
There are many reasons why medication of any kind should not and cannot be distributed through a water supply. Here are the top 4 reasons:
1) Everyone Receives a Different Dosage
By government mandate, Toronto Water adds a very precise dose of the medication hydrofluorosilicic acid (fluoride) to the water at around 0.6 ppm. However, depending on how much water you drink, this provides for a very large range of dosages especially over the span of a lifetime.
If I drink 4 litres of water per day and you drink 1 litre of water per day, that means that I am effectively consuming 4 times the amount of fluoride as you are each day. This is especially problematic for those who drink a large amount of water including firemen, diabetics, and athletes. Coupled with all of the other fluoride we ingest through sources such as beverages, foods, and … Read More »
On Monday, April 22, 2013, Dr. Paul Connett Ph.D joined us at the North York Civic Centre to discuss the artificial fluoridation of Toronto’s water supply. You can see the full video presentation on YouTube here.
Dr. Connett is a graduate of Cambridge University and holds a Ph.D. in chemistry from Dartmouth College. After teaching for 23 years in Canton NY at St. Lawrence University, he retired from his full professorship in chemistry in May 2006. Dr. Connett was kind enough to grace Toronto with his presence before travelling on April 23rd to testify against the addition of hydrofluorosilicic acid (fluoride) to the water supply in various municipalities in Quebec. Quebec currently has one of the lowest rates of artificially fluoridated water in Canada at around 2.6% with their largest city Montreal, having never fluoridated their water supply.
After another incredibly informative presentation, Dr. Connett reviewed the top 7 reasons … Read More »
